Still have some questions?

Therapy— the insurances, topics, just all of it— can be VERY confusing. I’ve written articles that will hopefully help you find some clarity.

FAQ

My Treatment Methodology

Honest.

I grew up around people who didn’t always say what they meant—who smiled through pain because they thought that was strength.

That never sat right with me.

In therapy, I value transparency: saying the hard thing, naming the real thing. It's not always comfortable, but it's where change starts.

Present.

As a bartender, I learned the power of holding space without needing to fill it. That lesson stuck.

Now, I offer the same steady presence to my clients. You don’t need to perform here—just show up as you are, and we’ll work with what’s real.

Liberation.

Mental health isn’t just a personal issue—it’s also cultural, systemic, generational. I co-founded the Asian Mental Health Collective to help shift those conversations.

In my practice, I hold all those layers.

Healing isn’t about fitting into a mold. It’s about carving space to be fully, unapologetically you.

About Chris Vo

PFP.jpeg

I don't believe in fixing people. I believe in helping them see themselves fully and clearly. That means no fluff, no out-of-the-box sessions.

No pretending your pain is smaller than it is.

This work will feel heavy, but it doesn't have to feel lonely.

Who am I?

Started Behind the Bar.

Before I ever sat across from a client, I stood behind the bar. Bartending taught me how to read a room, how to listen without interrupting, and how much people just want to feel seen. It was loud, late, and full of real talk. In many ways, it was the perfect training ground.

Became a Therapist.

Today, I’m a licensed therapist helping people make sense of the noise. I work with clients who want to go deeper—not just manage symptoms, but understand themselves. This work is personal, sacred, and unapologetically human. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Built Something Bigger.

Later, I co-founded the Asian Mental Health Collective, a nonprofit working to normalize mental health in our communities. We built it from a group chat into a movement. It deepened my sense of responsibility—and showed me just how many people are still searching for care that feels like home.
